Since its creation in 1990, the Prix de la justice award has been presented in recognition of the excellence and outstanding achievements of many different citizens who have worked to promote justice in Québec.

2015

Louise Otis, a pioneer in the field of legal mediation, is known for her outstanding and unwavering commitment and devotion to the promotion of law and access to justice, and to the enhancement of Québec’s social outreach.

2014

Judge Morton S. Minc stands as an inspiring model thanks to his commitment to the promotion of local justice based on social rehabilitation and respect for human dignity.

2013 Hélène (Sioui) Trudel, has helped promoted respect for fundamental rights and the values of equality and social justice for 30 years.

2012 The Honourable René Dussault, O.C., O.Q., Ad. E., a retired Cour of Appeal judge, jurist and public administrator who devoted his career to promoting the values of social equality and civil justice.

2010 : Laurent McCutcheon, a retired senior civil servant from Québec, who worked for many years to combat intolerance, discrimination, harassment and violence against sexual minorities.

2009 : André Laurin, a retired union leader and pioneer in the field of consumer rights protection in Québec

2008 :

Gilles Fournier, a retired engineer and the founder of DIRA-LAVAL and the Table régionale de concertation des aînés de Laval

2007 : Jean Saint-Onge, Ad. E., Chairman of the Marie-Vincent Foundation and the Centre d'expertise en agression sexuelle Marie-Vincent

2006 : The Honourable Michel Proulx, Q.C., a senior member of the litigation practice group at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg

2005 : Pierre-Hugues Boisvenu, Chairman of the Murdered or Missing Persons' Families' Association (MMPFA)

2004 : Claudette Barthélémy-Asner, President of the Association montréalaise des gens d'affaires et des professionnels noirs

2003 : Liliane Lamy Girouard, founder of the Maison de la famille DVS in Québec

2002 : Claude Masse, a retired professor at the Faculty of Law, Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM)

2001 : Michael Sheehan, a judge in the Civil Division of the Court of Québec and at the Human Rights Tribunal

2000 : Madeleine Plamondon, President and Director of Consumer Assistance Services

1999 : Lorraine Filion, Director, Service d'expertise psychosociale et de médiation à la famille, serving the Superior Court of Montréal

1998 : Marthe Vaillancourt, Director and founder, Centre d'aide aux victimes d'actes criminels (CAVAC) in Chicoutimi

1997 : Arlène Gaudreault, Chairperson, Association québécoise Plaidoyer-Victimes

1996 : Heidi Rathjen, Director and co-founder, Coalition pour le contrôle des armes à feu

1995 : Fo Niemi, General Director and co-founder, Centre de recherche-action sur les relations raciales (CRARR)

1994 : Jean-Yves Vachon, Director, Droits de la personne sourde, Centre de la communauté sourde du Montréal métropolitain

1993 : Jean-Charles Coutu, coordinating judge of the circuit court of the District of Abitibi

1992 : Michèle Rouleau, Québec Native Women's Association

1991 : Diane Lemieux, Coordinator, Regroupement québécois des centres d'aide et de lutte contre les agressions à caractère sexuels (CALACS)
